Full-Time Farm Work Vacancy

Join our team Start of April for a temporary full-time position on our farm, with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position.

You will be exposed to a diverse range of production, from polytunnel growing to cutting edge machinery use. Help us grow over 20 different crops in a sustainable and ethical way, from leeks to tomatoes and everything in between.

10 acres, 7 polytunnels, 2 tractors an array of fantastic machines and great people, that’s our set up.

We need a person who are willing to work hard, love the West of Ireland climate for all its diversity and love being outdoors. You will also need grit, determination, physical well-being, and we can promise you will be lean and fit at the end of the summer and will have accrued a healthy respect for what it takes to grow food.  This is a busy commercial farm and hours will range from 39-48hours on busy weeks. Weekend work may be required at times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Farm work.
• Sowing and planting of crops.
• Plant maintenance.
• Weed control.
• Harvesting of crops.
• Tractor work

You will need:

• Flexibility, move between roles, between field, tunnels tractor, packing.
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Great Teamwork skills
• Willing to get stuck in and work hard.
• Experience on a commercial horticultural unit would be beneficial.
• Own transport absolutely essential.

Summer Farm Work Vacancies

We are looking for people to join our farm team this summer, from start of June-to end of August. Would suit students that are on school holidays.
