The organic coconut products are grown in a stunningly beautiful valley in the province of Chanthaburi, and pressed in the province of Chonburi, both provinces in Eastern Thailand. One of the four principles of organic production is the principle of fairness. THAI GOLD ® Organic Coconut Milk and Organic Coconut Cream are products that are packaged in steel cans with a ‘food contact lacquer’ or liner coated on the food contact surface of the steel. This lacquer is applied to protect the steel can from the potential corrosive nature of the product.
THAI GOLD ® products have used a special food contact lacquer that is free from any intentional presence of Bisphenol A since the 2013 crop. We commit to continuing using this lacquer.
