Tiramisu is a popular Italian dessert made of layers of ladyfingers dipped in coffee and a cream mixture of mascarpone cheese, eggs, and sugar. It is traditionally dusted with cocoa powder and must be chilled for several hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to firm up.
